Reasoning
Seeing the pattern, understanding the relationship, and finding the way forward.
3, 7, 15, 31 … what comes next, and why?
An Olympiad to find the early signs of genius.
Not how much a child has memorised, but how they think, tinker and reason. We are preparing students for tomorrow, to become the people who make the decisions, not only the ones who follow them.

A child who asks why the answer works. A child who takes a problem apart to see what happens. A child who finds a second route when the first one fails. These are early signs of a mind that will lead, and most tests never see them.
This Olympiad is built to notice them.
Tomorrow needs decision makers, not only employees.
The jobs our students will hold have not been invented yet. What will matter is judgement: weighing a problem, choosing a path, standing behind it. That is what we want to find early, and help grow.
Every question is written to reveal how a student gets to an answer. Most draw on more than one of these.
Seeing the pattern, understanding the relationship, and finding the way forward.
3, 7, 15, 31 … what comes next, and why?
Observing, asking, testing, and working out why things happen.
Why does ice float, when most solids sink?
Taking a problem apart, trying, failing, and trying again until it gives.
Three moves, one rule. Can you reach the goal?
Thinking in steps, spotting what repeats, and designing a solution.
Repeat four times: move, turn. What shape is drawn?
A Class 2 child and a Class 11 student should not sit the same paper. Each group gets questions set for its age.
Noticing, sorting, comparing, playing with ideas.
Building a chain of reasoning, then testing it.
Unfamiliar problems that reward depth over recall.
A parent or guardian registers interest for the student's class.
Students solve problems built to test understanding, not recall.
Understand strengths, and where to grow next.
Exam dates, duration, number of questions, scoring and certificates: to be confirmed
